IDEFix 97

I just have managed to get my A1200 into a tower

However the idefix97 nag screen is driving me crazy !

I did a search of the forums and all the links are broken, it appears it is no longer supported ! Google has nothing either

How can I get rid of the screen ?!

Thanks in advance

Is it the first time you use IDEfix ? If you had it before, just register it with your existing registration number.

If you started using it now, why ? What do you need it for ?

However, if you want a new reg number, www.vesalia.de still sells it.

Bye,
Thomas

I wonder if they really sell it (i.e. if the authors get / got any money from the sales)? Oliver Kastl was a great Amigician. Author of Clone CD and more recently Clone DVD. Deserves to get paid.

I doubt that he gets any money from that now... unless he sold let's say 100 copies, he got paid back then and they still sell some of them...

The last activity I heard was he did the drivers for the IDE ports of the X-Surf network card.

I emailed Elaborate Bytes a few years back and even though it wasn't listed on the webpage, they would happily sell IDEMax direct. So, I think Oliver is still around.

IDE-Max is the new name of the product people usually refer to as "IDE-Fix" and "direct" means that they are the authors of the sw and can sell it to you without a retailer in between. :-)
