On Dopus4 to go back to the previous path, you can use the arrows that you find next to the path, or click on the Vertical Bar, see screenshot !

I know but I'm used to RMB. It's faster. I think one of the pre releases added that. At least version 417pre21 has it, which is what I use. I'm missing that in DO5.

RMB for parent is one of the reasons why I never gave DOpus much of a chance. It is ingrained into my brain after 29 years of using FileMaster. :-)

Ah that's why the option in DO4 is called "FileMaster-like parent". Can't remember if I ever tried FileMaster before. Maybe I should look into it.

Dopus4 v417pre20 and 417pre21 have the RMB function, so with the right mouse button on windows you can go back with a click

Maybe I'm just not picky at all, but as long as I'm sat in front of DOpus, I'll feel right at home. Be it 2-pane or multi-window, long as I can manage my files efficiently, then I'm happy. As for what I use the most, I use DOpus 4 on my A500, and DOpus 12 on Windows.

Never actually used DOpus5 - I read about it a bit though back in the day, saw screens and... something put me off. I guess I got used to the dual pane concept since FileMaster 2.2 times so much that I didn't need or want to try anything else. Spent long, long hours with DOpus4, configuring the buttons, hooking up external tools to handle various file types.
