Also if I remember right, there used to be a mark on the characters hand when u used a cursed weapon and removed it with "remove curse". This mark u can not see now. |

no it's a bug i believe, it happens if a line in the text containing the items names is skipped. (it happened to me when i translated the file at least)

@Marco
Are you refering to the mark on the hand? @CFOU! Ok, I tried the ecs version (didnt think I still have one but I found a working one) and it seems to happen in the ecs version also. First two pictures show the wrongly displayed +3 axe. The next picture shows the inventory with 4 weapons that were collected in eob1. The last one what it looks like when you put them on the ground. So it seems only that +3 axe is displayed wrong. You might have to know that the savegame I importet into eob2ecs was made playing eob1aga. I do not know if the same thing happens if you use a savegame from eob1ecs. I do have a savegame from eob1ecs but I can´t import it into eob2ecs. It doesnt work somehow (you and me were posting about this in another thread, after that you changed the whdload installer I think) Maybe someone else who has a working eob1ecs savegame can try this out, if you think it is at all worth the time. Edit: aaah I am getting old and my memory is playing games, you do get a mark on your characters hand, but only at a certain point in the game. So never mind that. In the Azure Tower Level 3 you find a scroll/parchment that shows a part of the map of some level. The ok button to leave the screen is missing. You can exit by just clicking at the position it normally is though.

have you test english version with your savegame? indeed i have reworked all original german ECS files (<> cruncher) for English engine and perhaps 'INF' file use a different format (light differrence). if it's the case, i will extract all german text and translate english ressourced EOB2 INF files.... |

These screeshots were made with the german ecs Version of eob2. I did not test it with an english ecs Version of eob2. Last edited by Styx; 16 November 2006 at 19:18. |

CFOU, great job. I have to admit I was sceptical as to whether it would ever actually happen like so much in the Amiga world. Well done!

@CFou: Awesome work man! I've outsources some pixeling job to some graphicians for the item-icons now. Just hold your thumbs that I'll manage to fit it all in 64k . You did PC->Amiga, I'm doing Amiga->C64.... rather interesting. ;-) Are we nuts?
