Amiga gotek saving games

"Hello there." so i recently got a gotek for my 600 and ran into a problem saving. does anyone on here know why my SWOS save disk on my gotek would suddenly say disk error after working ok for weeks what could cause it to happen? (Amiga wasn't turned off while still saving)such a pain as i was doing really well on my career mode for once hahaha. this is the second time it's happened now i even saved my game twice 1 as a backup and both now say disk error ?has anyone been successfully playing SWOS in particular the career mode on a gotek ?

Writing to some disk image formats corrupts the disk image according to the "Creating your own IPF's" thread contributors. I would say that would be the case for IPF's and maybe HFEv3. A standard ADF\HFE should be ok.

yeah its standard ADF there must be people that play and save SWOS on there gotek's with know issue so it must be possible or id guess this forum would be full of people asking the same question lol ill try a HFE format save disk see how that goes but i think i did try that before. its actually just done it again but i had a backup save i could roll back to but that's not really the answer doing that all the time.
