Guru ROM 6.1x installation disk

I've been googling my fingernails off just to realize there is no disk image file publicly available for the Guru ROM 6.1x installation disk. Please help me! I need to finetune my SCSI setup. I have the original Guru ROM installed into my GVP HC8+ but I only have the hardware.

I know there are people at this forum using Guru ROM, so I guess someone has the disk too. Please dms or adf it for me and I'll be yours forever.

AFAIK you don't need one. You just plug it in. Boot off the Workbench install disk. Run HDToolbox. The name of the SCSI controller is "omniscsi.device" you partition as normal and format as normal.

I know one came with the device but I doubt it does much.

[EDIT: I see you got one over at Amiga.org]

Yes, now I have an ADF claiming to have the Guru ROM install disk. Hope to try it out tonight.

You're right. It works fine anyway. However, I hope to be able to fine tune my configuration a bit. As of now, it seems like it scans all SCSI LUNs and addresses for disks at boot time. It takes about 15 seconds extra each boot. My hope is that I can configure that behaviour with the tool.

Any chance you can post the ADF into "The Zone!"? Click on the link on the top right corner.

Indeed. It's there now. Will the stuff stay in The Zone forever or do they have a limited life time?

They have a limited life, perhaps someone reading this can transfer the disk to the EAB file server?

"Installer Heaven" might be another option for keeping it online.
