AE type software for Amiga?

Was just curious if there was an AE/FTP type server for the amiga.. I'm not talking about a true tcp/ip FTP server.. I'm simply talking about an app that was similar to a BBS in that it would wait for a caller and transfer files - but was not a true bbs.. Something similar to Ascii Express for the Apple 2 or even Phone Man for the c64..

A pure file trading app that worked in host mode..

As part of the little file collection activities (along with hacking/phreaking apps) I am looking for stuff like I described above for the various platforms..

Thanks for any comments you might have..

back in the days there were some fsp sites - aminet got some fspd for you to try:
port of fspd 2.7.1 for AmiTCP and another fspd - client AmiFSP.
here is a fspd 2.5 including server and the client tools.
the description you gave, fits the feature of such fsp sites, but i might be wrong.

#1) Apple II Disk Server - how cool is this

Yea, I'm not referring to stuff that ran on TCP/IP like FSP/FXP/FTP... If you are familiar with the "Phone Man" application for the c64/128 then you can basically equate what I'm looking for to something similar to the host mode within Phone Man.. But for the amiga...

Cool apple 2 site.. Not really into games tho..

Just use a Null Modem cable and a program like NCOMM on both sides. On can connect to the other and you can transfer files

Works even between Amiga and every other computer you can run a com prog on
