Compilation: GOTEK games & demos package from some Polish seller on eBay
Hi guys,
After I bought a refurbished Amiga 500 with FF Gotek from some Polish seller on eBay, I had some issues with the provided 16 GB pen drive. It failed on me, to the point I could not recover any of the various files that were copied there. I downloaded Akira's game pack, got another pen drive ready, but soon noticed it was missing demos and diagnostic tools. Not trying to steal his thunder of course, just noticing. Consequently, I got in touch with the seller by mail. Pete from retrohax.net eShop told me it was OK for him to upload the corresponding archive, so I could get going again. The very next day, he sent me a link to grab said archive from Mega, and was kind enough to allow me to share it here on the EAB. Without further ado, here is the archive upped on my own Mega, devoid of any Kickstart or Workbench files (just replace the blanked ADF's with your own romz). I did notice it bears a few AGA games so I assume it's not as lean and well researched as Akira's, but the included demos and megademos might compensate for this. I've got the ADF files list ready, should anyone wishes to check it before downloading the whole shebang. Last edited by SquawkBox; 05 August 2020 at 22:27. |

Sure, no problem. You will find it on the FTP too.

Thanks
Perhaps you already know, but your upload folder is hidden, so no download is possible |

Ah, I said to myself "there are so few upload directories / nicks there", I should have known there was some caveat to behold.

A really stupid question: what it means the word GOTEK ?

The word itself, I don't know but what's important IMHO is how people use it in classic Amiga's, as a floppy drive replacement / simulator.

The Chinese manufacturer actually writes it as "GoTek".

Don't get me wrong but one person's adf gotek usb setup, won't work when transferred to another usb & gotek device...
Each game is allocated to each slot via the amiga/gotek manually. |
