Windows tools for managing ADF images?
Hi,
During development I often need to copy files to and from an ADF but I have to do this inside WinUAE using the likes of DOPUS. Are there any native Windows tools for managing Amiga DOS files on a standard ADF that I can use to speed things up? Cheers, Geezer |

I've forked and built ADFTools for windows : https://github.com/prb28/adftools.
May be a good choice to automatize the ADF Generation in a script. Although it may have some bugs on windows, the source forked was made for linux, I fixed some bugs on windows but certainly not a all. |

With shell extension ADFView you can view ADF in Windows Explorer: http://www.viksoe.dk/adfview/
FreeCommander uses Total Commander plugin AmigaDX to open ADFs: https://freecommander.com/en/summary/ Double Commander also uses same TC plugin and it's available for Windows, Linux, Max OS X and FreeBSD: https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/ In Linux you can mount ADF and HDF as affs file system. All that is for ADF and HDF (as hardfile only I think) with OFS and FFS only. EDIT: AmigaDX plugin only works in Windows (Double Commander related). ADFView "detects real Amiga hard drives attached to your computer and adds a new drive icon to the "My Computer" folder under Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/Win7." - from ADFView page. That mean that it can read RDB. Last edited by Tomislav; 13 January 2019 at 15:01. |
