Skid Row Crackintro "Lemmings" way too slow
Ok you know it all
  http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=7197 But the strange thing is it runs very slowly on WinUAE (sound also!)... no matter if you just run the .exe or the "original" Lemmings disk. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Try NTSC video or without 'cycle exact' option.

I tried this disk, Digital-CrackIntroColl04, and cracktro number 20, Skid Row's Lemmings Final runned smoothly on my QUAD-Core PC, using Quickstart Configuration number 2 in WinUAE. So maybe you have a very slow CPU on a old PC.

Non-cycle-exact is only approximate, if any vblank synced program takes too much time and misses next vblank: halved speed.
Nothing to do with CPU speed. (Easy test: no sound repeating/no scratchy sound = can't be CPU speed problem) |
