IFF-ILBM: looking for sample files

Hi everyone,

I am working on an IFF-ILBM decoder which is progressing quite well: I can display up to 256 color files, 24bit variants, as well as PC-Deluxe Paint LBM files.

However IFF-ILBM is very complex and there are a lot of variants I still don't support. To check my decoder is working fine, I am looking for IFF-ILBM sample files for these variants:

- files with a transparent mask
- files using grayscale format (from what I know it's a 8 bpp file without a CMAP chunk)
- 32 bit files (I am not sure these exist but saw some references in some documentation)

It would be very helpful if someone could share one or more files like these or maybe tell me how to generate one myself.

Thank you

Edit: I found a way to generate a file with a masked bitplane (stencil in DPaint)

This Amiga Deluxe Paint data disk is on EAB FTP. It has ILBM Brushes which may have transparency layers and also ILBM Lo-res images.

EDIT: ADF-Workshop by Crashdisk can extract files from Amiga ADF disk images to a folder on your PC.

I opened all files from the Data disk and none use a bitplane mask unfortunately :/

http://amigan.1emu.net/releases/ReportPlus.lha has some images like that (eg. logo.ilbm).

While ILBMs without a CMAP chunk are still considered to be valid, I don't know of any rule forcing applications to treat them as greyscale; the app can presumably use whatever colours it wants for such files.

Unfortunately logo.ilbm is using a transparent color, not a transparent mask, which is an additional bitplane that acts as a mask.
