Back to the future 3 & Arabian nights

Hi, I'm stuck in both games, last level.

Arabian nights: I have the special sword (the one that can shoot snowballs) but in one room i want to go upstairs (there's an exploding bomb on the upper level) but I can't. some ice is blocking the way. I tried to shoot it but i can only shoot sideways and not upways. any ideas how to go further (i think the level's 37 % completed by this time).

Back to the future 3: Last level (train), the (4th) waggon with the lion.
Two wooden barrels are in the way. what now ?

For Arabian Nights you need to find and use blowtorches to open the frozen doors

I was stuck in the exact same spot in BTTF3. I was blaming some copy protection scheme myself... there seems to be no way to get passed it. If anybody knows how to get passed those damned barrels, please share...

i know - i opened all three of them up already but those two iceblocks are over my head (after falling down and beaming to a different spot) and I can't pass them
