Brian the Lion CD32 full image

The regular A1200 version of this game is a lot of fun and I just realized the CD32 version is not in the CD32 tosec.

I would really like to have this game as it has CD audio and more levels.
If anyone has any information about where I can get it, I would really appreciate that!

Thanks!

Yeah, I actually found it there. I *really* don't like eMule though.. while it's great for finding sorta rare stuff, it's so slow!

I'm currently downloading it from there though.. if it ever finishes, anyone that wants it can let me know and I'll let them grab it from my FTP

Be patient, laffer. I've grabbed a lot of CD32 games from emule, it is worth the time.

What other games can I find on eMule that's not in the TOSEC collection?
Anything else I should look for?

Search for "Ararat" (Clone CD releases) and the "MarcoM MCSTeam" (mostly ISO+WAV). But check some Ararat releases carefully. A few games from him, like Benefactor, misses the cd audio tracks.

Or search for "Amiga CD" or "CD32" for everthing related to cd games.

Iirc correctly the version I grabbed on eMule was scratched; The audio was skipping and popping in a few places. I really wish people would rip their CD32 games with EAC's test+copy function and including the log file. That way bad /corrupt audio tracks could easily be avoided.

Speaking of pleasuredome... They've had a server crash recently as I'm sure you know my friend. The tosec CDTV torrent hasn't come up since the crash. Do you have the torrent file? Could you email it to me? I'd like to have a look at it.

Your hash key? What the bloody hell is a hash key? They've been asking for people to email the torrents so they can add them haven't they? There cannot be any personal info stored in the torrent file itself can it?

Oh well I guess they will be back up again eventually...

The hash key identifies the downloader as the guy who originally grabbed the torrent from the site.

I'm already a member on PD and I have that CD32 TOSEC.. but Brian the Lion wasn't included

If you have an ftp or something I could upload it for you...?

Even better... I would guess that it's already present on ftp:s. Perhaps the owner(s) might grant you access Try PMing TheBoss for example.

More levels? Oh... I didn't know that. Ordinary levels or hidden ones? Or maybe new bonus levels? What's the treat?

I recently played through the ordinary AGA-version... and even though I think it is a good game I thought it just had no climax whatsoever at the end. After beating a rather ordinary boss... I had to watch my jaw drop to the ground when the credits started to roll... I did NOT see that one coming, and was extremely disappointed due to this.

Your hash key, which is added to the torrent file when you download it from the PD site, is a way to identify who's downloading what... They're using it to update your download/upload ratio. You shouldn't give your torrent files to anyone: their downloads would be tracked on your account (and when the PD mods find out that you have multiple downloads of the same torrent, meaning that you shared your torrent files, you will be 'shitlisted').
They're asking for people to send missing torrent files to the PD admins, not to anyone else...

Heh, thanks for the info, Dooly, and sorry once again for requesting the torrent file, Bippy I really thought the tracker was communicating with the torrent PROGRAM through a config file or something similar - not through the torrent files. I thought the torrent files were simply indexing the files (and checksums) and containing the ip of the tracker(s). Now I understand that I shouldn't share the torrents with anybody (not that I have done that myself in the past).

Oh, and I hope you enjoy Brian The Lion, laffer
