WinUAE is hosted by the guys at back to the roots, that site isn't working either so that'll be why.

I have no idea what's wrong with it and I don't believe it has been mentioned, but I'm sure it will return in time.

Cannot help you with TOSEC or amiga.nl though.

The speculators (read: hyperion (with amiga inc. $$$)) have begun their action of putting down
competitors.

</end of conspiracy theory>

amiga is just joking around mrbob2

He's implying that WinUAE's competitors i.e. real hardware / operating systems / owners of the brand are out to close the site down as WinUAE rocks so hard i.e. knock out the superior product

Well, that's atleast how I understood the comment

superior product? lol winuae emulates a 20 year old comp, any new hardware in my eyes is nothing to do with a commodore amiga. importantly, if the site is "removed" will work on winuae still continue and i assume it will (the links) be posted on here. In my eyes winuae has been virtually perfect since v1 but updates are always wanted for the little improvements they make.

hehehe, yup WinUAE is superior to all other new "Amiga" shite

As you've said all this new stuff has nothing to do with a Commodore Amiga

There's no reason whatsoever for the WinUAE site to be closed down, nothing illegal is happening with WinUAE... In fact it's even bundled with products like Amiga Forever (who apparently own the rights or something to KickStart ROMs)...

I'm sure the site will be back soon, probably just having hosting difficulties
