Mounting IPFs
Hi,
this may be a stupid question, but have you thought about being able to mount the ipf files under workbench? Would it be possible for a piece of software to do that? And act as a virtual drive? It'd mean that I could install the games with whdload all over on the Amiga side rather than installing them on my pc and copying the images across. |

It is planned. But currently low-ish priority and we are very busy right now. Sorry!

While they cant currently be mounted, they can be converted into a format whdload can use in some cases.
"mfm2wwarp game.ipf game.wwp" will convert the ipf to wwarp format. "wwarp game.wwp f" then "wwarp game.wwp g" should produce the Disk.1 file some whd slaves use. If the installer uses rawdic, you can select the game.wwp file once the imager starts instead of inserting disks. (Requires at least RawDic 2.2) been a while since ive needed to use the above procedure though so if ive missed anything im sure psygore or codetapper can fill in the gaps |

RawDIC has been able to handle CAPS files since v3.0 - no need to convert to WWP's first...

Yep Jens has said he was going to send us a board. I guess he is busy. I'll mail him again at some point. Of course, we have to find time to work on it too,,,
