What am I doing wrong?

I got all the packages from KG site and the DAT posted there and after I extract everything to a folder, clrmamepro finds no missing set and no missing roms but:

2 wrong named sets
48 wrong named roms
8536 uneeded files/folders (!!!)

The folder was empty before extracting the packages.

KG's packs already have the correct names for Gamebase Amiga, there is no need for scanning/renaming them.

I just mention what CLRMAMEPRO (latest version) tells me.

Things get more weird... I dared to scan the WHDLoad collection in Pleasuredome with the same DAT (the one KG provides in his site) and for some reason some files (more than 20) WHERE created by the rebuilder (so were missing from KG's collection but are in KG's dat!?)...

After that and a rescan of my KGWHD folder and saw that nothing changed (I don't know where the files that were rebuilt went...).

Probably only KG can reply to this thread.

You're using the DAT, stop using the DAT and everything will be better.

The Dat on my site is only really meant to be used to see whether or not you have a complete set, I never really intended them to be used for building/rebuilding sets as everything is available on my site.

I will be changing my dat to only contain solid zip files soon so that each game is only the 1 zip file, it'll mean every game can be included (even those with incompatible filenames) and mean that it's a hell of a lot of a smaller dat.
