Yep, very nice game. I hope hope for a full WHDLoad treatment, with a jump button and more.

Thank you so much for this, it's a really nice game and really polished.

I think the only thing I would have added is a how to play screen as it's not clear at first what you need to do. It could also highlight that holding down the fire button to charge brings up a power-up screen.

I don't think it's there as I only saw on startup alternating between the title screen and the high score table.

Fantastic that you finished it after all this time. Looks like it plays really smooth too. Thank you, will give it a play.

I started working on the whdload slave. Bootblock uses encrypted program right from the start. This is going to be fun

Very nice looking game and runs perfectly on a 1mb A500 too.

Thank you for this polished and very funny little gem! Hearing again the df0 sing while loading the animated siluhette intro is heatwarming! I liked the jazzy intro-tune too.
I must confess i'll fire up my action-replay since i really suck at this game!

game has nasty boot encryption (that I just bypassed ) reminding of copylock code running in trace mode and all... I can boot & see the intro now. More work for the full game, but it'll be done later that week probably.

Did anyone already manage to get to world two? The game is quite difficult, which I like.

Yes, I did. What is sad is that it is no world code so have to start all over every time. The game is high quality and that is my only complain.

I had a look at the ADF tonight. I like it!
I appreciate the protection, the file-system (a DOS/1 faked to be able to boot on KS1.x, I also did something similar in my tests ),
the loader and packer (which is at gzip level or even slightly better in certain cases).
And of course the game!

Had a quick look after not touching any games since March this year. The game is very slick.

Thanks to everyone involved.

Now that the disk layout is public knowledge some obvious files are in DOS/0 so that one can check them e.g. from from Workbench or CLI without chancing anything on the disk

Does it use an FFS root block at a (hardcoded) different block than 880? And then the OS will just load the OFS root from block 880 to access those few files?

Thank you. What a wonderful game. It seems too good to be free. Can I donate somehow?
