CD32+SX1

SX32 of course better but too expensive and came late in the game.

I had a 3000 and a 4000. I liked the look and build quality of the 3000, but as I had to snip the case to fit the Toaster, I'll have to go with the 4000. Better expansion, and I got my SCSI back with the WarpEngine.

Amiga 6000
The AAA Chipset brings to bankrupt not only Sony corporation, but also, puts to a hard challenge even Pentium 2 and 3 configurations.
Unbeatable.
----------------

On a serious note: For me it's A500.
Everything is amazing about that computer. Time of release, it's incredible graphics, it's very cheap price considering what it offers. You can't do better then that.
Even the design of the keyboard, that so many people dislike, I adore.
Close second is A1000.

As an honorable mention, I'd say CDTV, even I have never even see one.
I think it was so much ahead of it's time.

I love all Amigas, but perhaps my least favorite Amiga is A500+.
And mainly because my friend had it, and I still clearly remember fear in his eyes, whenever he puts some new game in floppy drive, not knowing if it will work, or not.

I fell in love with the A3000D about 25 years ago and I guess that hasn't changed. I own multiples of most models, so it is a tough decision. Tied for second would be my A3000T and my Bomac A2000 tower.

I'll be in the minority here saying the A600, I do have a lot of personal reasons to like it so much, but I also have a lot of objective reasons to really love it. I think alongside the 1200 they are the best entry models into the platform nowadays.

If we're talking just about games, the CD-32 is really, really good. I think it's sad it wasn't successful. It does what it needs to do really well.

4000D, i don't have a A4000T.
However, flavors can be mixed with an A4000TX even if i regret this one has no more slots than the 4000D.

Frankly, only a few games were not working with KS2.04 of the A500Plus, and certainly no new games from 1991 and later. At the same time i was having mine, a friend had an A2000 which also got not working games for unfathomable reasons.
This time is long gone however, as everyone does WHDLOAD and 3.1 or more, and by now an A500Plus or replica is better than an A500.

Never had one but a 2mb chip ram machine is easy to make via trapdoor and it can take an internal hard drive too so it would make an awesome sample based music sequencing station. Styling is nice too. Almost all of my fav' games are OCS/ECS anyway so it wouldn't bother me.

One game that refused to run on my 1mb A1000 was Ghosts n Goblins, worked fine on the A500 512 chip + 512 fast via trapdoor my cousin had and my 1mb Chip A2000. Probably something to do with Zorro-I 512k memory added to the system. Have the original game somewhere in storage so might have been the Crystal crack.

Amiga 500, no contest. If not for this model Amiga would most likely barely register on the microcomputer map and there would be very little talk of "Amiga's legacy".

I'v never had A1200 but I don't feel like I've "missed out" on anything, at least on the gaming side. Admittedly, in modern times this model seems like the most fun one to have though...pity its prices have skyrocketed recently because I would get one myself.

That said, if you add something like ACA500+ to A500, you can also have the fast-OS-and-HDD experience so all you really miss is AGA (which isn't that much, really).

Frankly, I remember well that period.
Both of my friends (one with pure A500, and the other with 500+) were exchanging games, and I am the one who connected them.
Friend with A500+ was always in fear if some game will work, and for a reason, because, indeed, many games didn't worked.
I was there.
I was the one who give him new games.

I'd say.. 60% of the games worked... but no more then that.
And I also remember from that period that Arcade Pool worked on my friends A500+, and he played it so often, that, after a while, he started blinking like crazy...

1000 for OCS. For Big Box. And because it's THE AMIGA.
And 1200 for AGA and for keyboard cases.

And the most ugly one will always be the 2000...

1. A1200 (AGA, was affordable for me, lovely case design)
2. A600 (for being an A500+ in a nice case with ATA and PCMCIA)
.
.
.
N. A3000 (IMO just a big disappointment)

A3000 has the design, the SCSI, Amber. Wins for me, I just love owning one. Some configuration headaches exist, but I guess that’s true of most Amigas, she needs someone with attention to detail. It also feels like the last Amiga that wasn’t a horrendous compromise, there was a bit of innovation.

A500+ is another favourite. Love the 500 design, and 2MB chip plus ECS is nice. I guess I’m a big ECS fan lol. The battery thing is a risk.

I enjoy my A1200, it’s an all white 1200net model, but I feel like it’s built like s*** compared to the above models. The key scanning is iffy (you can’t hold certain key combos down at once), the little mouse port is on a flimsy ribbon cable, the caps go bad, timing fixes are needed to even expand it, and it’s not as appealing to me design wise. But I still love it, and all Amigas

A3000 for life! Second is A600 for its compact size.

Most big 1991 games did work on the A500+ (SWIV and Deuteros are the only obvious exceptions) and a good amount of the classics. The Atari STe had more significant issues with the biggest games on launch. Some games got fixed pretty quickly too. Pirated copies had a lower compatibility rate, but you can't expect Commodore to compromise system designs based on that. Relokick solved most issues eventually anyway. The Plus had a much better operating system and more graphics power, longer-term it became an advantage, and for no extra cost compared to the A500. You couldn't fix an A600 to add a keypad.

A1200 for wedge versions.
A3000 for big box ones

I love the A500 because it will always be my first Amiga but It is definitively too big by now. And on the contrary the compact design of the A600 is perfect but the pack of a numeric keypad is a no go, hence why I prefer the A1200 design.
