My favourite has got to be Amigulanar ( or something similiar)

This site was huge, never before or since had there a site with this many ADF's and screenshots of every game, this site was pure class IMO.

Sadly if you didn't see it you've really missed out I'm affraid.

This site is no longer with us, one day it just suddenly vanished with out a trace (Amiga inc. at work again maybe) does anyone know what actually happened??

Anyway the guy who did the site has another HERE but it's just not the same

When Lazarus was around, it was the only site which had any Amiga software without resorting to going to Warez FTPs. It had a huge collection of ADFs (back then)

It was the number 1 source. I frequented there when it started, and when it died....Then it came back! (Just like Lazarus did...Do some reading if you have no idea what I'm talking about)..Then it died again....Then they attempted to bring it back....Then they died before they could start...Then someone else wanted to bring it back....They died before they could start too

Beyond the obvious adf leeching that Lazarus is most famous for, there was great reading on the site, too.
Since Amiga 'warez' sites were quite a rarity and the collection here was huge, it gave you goosebumps to go there and see this massive collection. At the time, it seemed larger than life.

It's hard to put a vote on my fav site. I really like EAB, personally. Lately, it has kinda been taken over by Off-Topic stuff, which has lost it points, IMO. But the gang's all here, plus you can't beat the request/ADFZone thing. BTTR is pretty massive, too. And Exotica. But I dunno if I could name any one favorite. If I was forced to, I'd probably go with BTTR.

Exotica. It's the most brilliant Amiga archive I have ever seen in my whole life. ADF sites are a-plenty, exotica is unique

If Ihave to pick one ADF site, I think I liked the Dreamzone quite a lot. Haven't visited it in like, a year.

And for community, EAB is tops.

I have forgotten the name of the Amiga site I enjoyed most, This site had a CD32 section with lots of screenshots and a 'standard' Amiga section where you could download hundreds of games. Every game was accompanied with a screenshot. If you could not find the game you wanted, you could register and post your requested game. The site was closed in the end of 2000 by Amiga.com. Not really a surprise..

The site I remember the most was the (Trans-something)'s Ami-Crypt, because that was one of the first sites I went to when i first discovered Amiga emulation. I could download all my favourites again!!

Site is still around, but no more downloads. Still quite a lot of good information though.

Yep. Trantor's Ami-crypt was a very good site. I visited it alot. Too bad he had to remove all downloads

Speaking of removal of downloads, Ninja's AGA World was a fantastic site too

The first emulator site I ever visited was http://www.emuunlim.com/ which has a links page called rompoint at http://www.rompoint.com/amiga.shtml but needs updating.

Jambo is my 3rd favourite site because it allowed me to find games, other web sites. etc.

Amiga Legal Emulation is my 2nd favourite site because it allowed me to discover this great board and also has a large content.

BTTR is my 1st favourite site due to the large number of dloads.

I think you are talking about Amiga Emulation World... At its last days they added a CD32 Emulation World sub-site. It was a nice site.

Yes, Maybe it was Amiga Emulation World. -The site had an 'easy-to-remember' webadress. I wish there was an 'allround' Amiga site similar to Lemon 64: Covering many screenshots, downloadable games, coverscans, reviews and so on. Most Amiga related sites seem to focus on aspects of Amiga computing: Cheats, screenshots or downloadable games.
Nowadays I stick to 'Back to the Roots'. This site is the next big thing.

For all my toast and guts, I really appreciate Bernd's AmiSector One site. It is superbly organized, updated on a semi regular basis. great selecton of legal and good PD games. The handy tools and docs, old emus, etc is a beacon to those that want to design a good emu or gaming site.
