Do you mean for sale? I've got a Stelladaptor which I wouldn't think of selling because I love it.

Google, using the search word "stelladaptor":
http://www.atariage.com/forums/index...owtopic=130861 And the rest of you, you can say it out normally without resorting to ironic comments. The font wasn't THAT big after all. Last edited by Jope; 23 September 2008 at 09:39. |

Yeh.. Perhaps a keyrah is indeed more cost effective. It's a tad on the large side, but just stick it in a case and hide it somewhere.

It is easy to connect up, every switch is labeled on the board, use switch 1 for the fire button. I used a db9 socket and soldered wires to the board and socket and just plugged in the joystick

Using Keyrah just with the joysticks?
Can i use only the joysticks connected to the Keyrah and my own pc keyboard instead of any Amiga keyboard while playing or using an emulator on my pc?
I really do not want to use a c65/c128 or amiga keyboard while using the emulator and my competition pro joysticks. |

how about an Amiga adapter for USB joysticks? Does anything of the like exist, what would you need to make one?

That is not a trivial effort. A USB host requires significant cpu power, it's a bit much for a small microcontroller.

I see.
Then let's take a look at my problem from a slightly different angle: do you happen to know if there's a way to make a "custom" stick made with arcade cabinets spare parts (such as the one pictured below) work on an original Amiga 1200? Like, if I soldered the wires coming off of the stick microswitches on the PCB of an old Quickshot Amiga joystick (Apache, Phantom and the likes), would it work on my Amiga? Do I even need the PCB at all, wouldn't just the DB9 cable be enough (given the correct wiring schematics which could be figured out with a multimeter anyway, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)? This is the stick I was talking about (minus the pre-programmed PCB I used to make it compatible with PC and Playstation 3 which is common ground though - sorry for the large picture and sorry for asking again): ![]() ![]() Last edited by Retri; 26 May 2009 at 21:58. |

Wire a leg from each microswitch (including the fire button) as common ground, then wire the remaining like this: Pin 1 = Forward Switch Pin 2 = Back Switch Pin 3 = Left Switch Pin 4 = Right Switch Pin 6 = Fire Button Switch Pin 8 = Common Ground (all switches) PZ. |
