Most compatible settings?

Hi

I've been messing around with WinUAE and just wondered if there was a 'compatible' setting.

I've tried using the cycle-exact (full) feature which works on some games but not SWoS, for example. If used on SWoS it crashes unless you turn it off and use 'Immediate blitter'.

Games like PP Hammer also require specific settings as does Eye of the Beholder AGA otherwise graphics corruption occurs.

I just feel like I'm missing something - I know I can have multiple configs with the options selected but if someone has some tips to make it so that most of the games work fine on one config that would be fantastic.

Thanks,

M.

Use Quickstart. Make sure it is set to 'best compatibility'. If it's an OCS/ECS game and A500 doesn't work/has issues try A600.

I'll give it a go - it may be the Picasso setup or such like - but I'll keep fiddling!
