My thoughts exactly. What he means (I think) is that both files have a different file size after packing. How he comes to the conclusion that it is WinUAE bug is beyond me though, I just checked on my real Amiga and it happens there too.

Same issue with xpkSQSH ! The bug appear only after an avail flush...

Some other sublibraries always works fine, like xpkPPMQ, xpkSHRI, xpkBLZW, xpkDLTA, xpkILZR...

Cosmos, do you use TLSFMem ?
TLSFMem always had problems with Avail FLUSH.
Maybe that could be the reason ? Check it out.

No, PeterK ! Only the exec v45.20 from BB2 is used !

Tried with exec v40.10 (KS 3.01) and xpkSQSH = same issue

Ok !

Maybe, it's a problem of the xpk system with the stack or other memory resources and the semaphore handling if more than just one process wants to use the libraries at the same time ??

Whatever, I think we can conclude this isn't WinUAE...

Excuse me Toni, I tried with a real Amiga, and I have the same issue... Packed files are not the same after some avail flush...

So it's not a bug from WinUAE !

The moral of this story is:

CHECK all issues on a real machine 1st if you own one before shouting BUG in WinUAE

Toni works his ass off on WinUAE, he does not need to be waylaid on false leads.
