Can anyone check if it works on Amiga500+/A600?

(it's a bootblock to insert to the ADF)

tested on winUAE, with default a500+ configuration (1mb chip)
and it works... greatly

But I will make a v2 because I realized that I don't reset the memory patch after a reboot
(and will I also fix for A1200?).

Also noticed that there are two cracked versions by Quartex:

Beach Volley (1989)(Ocean)[cr QTX].adf

and

Beach Volley (1989)(Ocean)[cr QTX][f QTX].adf

Does anyone know what the 'fix' version do?

Now support all KS and memory configurations (also 020+ and AGA machines).

Release version into the Zone!

, that's probably a crack fix (QTX fix do not do patch for KS or memory configs).

If for some reason this QTX version has problems, apply the bootblock to the version of your choice.

BUT..... on my lowly A500 KS 1.3, 512k chip, 512k fast NTSC. GURU.....

Any other version of BV works fine on a500. Ross's version is for machines with ks2.0 and above.

or as a bootdisk directly, inserting the gamedisk after the first reset

@ransom1122 i have a request, have you tried to connect an old a501 or compatible halfmeg expansion to your a500 plus? if you have one of course.
Seems that having that 'unlocks' the loading also, at least winUAE say so...
it would be great to check this on real hardware

The a500+ is my friends, he doesn't have any extra's loaded onto it. I was trying to get a fix for BV to work with his Gotek, thats all.

Yes I tried the original Quartex ADF and it works in NTSC on my A500. (Beach Volley (1989)(Ocean)[cr QTX].adf)

Into the Zone!, for your convenience, this QTX version (that seems NTSC tolerant) with my bootblock.

If you want to give a try to fake-mem from an ready-made adf, you can download the one which corresponds to cover disk of 3rd issue of Amiga Concept (April 1994), a French mag, it's on the file server. I have been using fake-mem with my 1 MB A500 on occasions and it did actually (pretend to) turn 512k of my chip ram into other mem. Note that it's hit and miss. Note also that it requires 2.04+ KS. When you load said coverdisk, it will display the picture of "a babe" (static digitized picture of a woman in swimming suit), just hit Ctrl+C to skip it. The Amiga will reboot after fake-mem is started, this is normal behavior.
