Where to buy AmigaOS 3.9?

Hello everyone!

I'm simply wondering if anyone knows where I could find and buy a legit copy of AmigaOS 3.9? I have been looking but it only seems 3.1.4 is available these days? I'd like to have it as an original if possible and I don't think I'll go through the process of upgrading to 3.1.4/3.2 either.

Maybe someone has a copy and would like to sell it?

Your best bet is to find a used copy.

I did try setting up an account with Amibay when I got back into the Amiga swing of things, but for some reason it never got approved and I haven't been able to re-register since then either. I don't know what that's about.

I was hoping maybe someone here on EAB had a copy of OS 3.9 that they would be willing to sell. Otherwise it'd probably be difficult to find one to buy.

I have thought about 3.1.4 or 3.2 but I'm not 100% comfortable with switching kickstart ROM internally, and also I would probably be looking at a complete reinstall of the operating system since I am running with PFS to use bigger partition sizes at current.

You don't need to swap ROMs. 3.1.4 and 3.2 can be installed with Kick 3.1, just like 3.5 and 3.9. It needs more RAM if you don't install the ROM, but that's the same with 3.9, too.
