A little heads up...

I've had such a warm welcome on the forum and a few nice comments, so I've been inspired to begin work on my 'Spheroid' game again after 26 years!

I've had to redo some things since I'm now a bit wiser from a coding perspective and my old code is fairly ropey! Plus I've changed language from AMOS to BB2.

Here is the revamped title screen up and running...

Project update of 'Spheroid'...

All tile types are now in and working.
Have started work on the status panel (timer works, just need to do lives and moves).
Need to start designing some 'real' levels.

Here is my test level with all features working...

Have transferred over for a first run on real hardware. Here is a photo of my Grandson testing on my A1200 in my little dev studio.

Amiga Addict Magazine featured a 12 level version of 'Spheroid' on their virtual coverdisk.

I've seen this available for download in other places now and I'd rather it come from an 'official' source, so please download this version below. It features a few different levels to the 10 level version, a loading screen with some music and different title screen music.

Little update on my game, Spheroid! It's all complete and ready to go!


It will shortly be uploaded to itch.io and will be downloadable for free (although there is a donation option which will go towards me maintaining my old hardware!).


When it goes live, I'll post a thread in the 'news' section.


In the meantime, try the Xmas themed 15 level version (with exclusive levels) available from WhatIFF Amiga Guide Magazine!
