MacOS m1 Crossover and WinUAE?

Anyone manage to get the current WinUAE working via crossover on an m1 Mac? I can't even get it to finish the install. This is with the Trial version.

What errors are you getting? I’ve been trying to get WinUAE going via Crossover on an Intel Mac and it fails on a DirectX package. If you’re getting the same then that means this is more of a general Crossover issue than a CPU architecture issue.

It is kind of hard to see exactly which package it's failing on, as the failure dialog is locked in the center over the list of things it's installing. The log is... well extensive. I'd have to dig through it better.

But it installs IE 8... which makes me think that the 'bottle' hasn't been updated in a long long time, and that it likely is trying to create a fake Windows XP set up. Pretty sure modern versions of WinUAE would no longer work on WinXP, but I could be wrong about that.

I'm guessing it's not a CPU architecture issue though.
