I have about 20 or 25 Titles of this list in my collection as Originals. So there will be mor about this time after time in HOL. @Marce Spherical Worlds CD was an ECS CD, but works on CD32. I have it also here. As some of a "lost Game" is Childsplay from Helios Software. I have an original Box here, but the originbal Disks ist crap. But it is impossible to find anything about this, especially a Disk image. |

Well, screenshot them so I'd know what not to look after While you are here, do you have any idea if these games are released or not? Astar - http://amr.abime.net/review_11483 Ars Regnandi - http://amr.abime.net/review_11950 Also I saw somewhere the box of the German game Der Boss, but the screenshots seemed similar to the game Industrie http://hol.abime.net/3646 Is it the same game? |

I was once shown some graphics that were for a pre-historic dizzy game, well that's why the guy said at the time and at about 15 years old I had no reason to doubt him.
So I often wonder if that Dizzy game was ever in development or not |

There's a difference, the were presumably asked by Ocean or whomever licenced it for US to provide an NTSC version, they were never asked to do Uridium 2 for CD32, Braybrook simply did an AmigaDOS loading version of the disk version which likely took him seconds to implement.

@NPI
Der Boss is really a compilation with 2 Games and it comes also from Media GmbH It contains Industrie and Manager Sim Professional 3.0. This is a Game which is not listed so far. But I have the Boss Compilation here (boxed). So it will be there sometimes. - Astar - Land in Flammen If found an entry in my lists from Nordlicht PD for the Demo (3 Disks). Astar -Land in Flammen-.....[dtsch.Strategie/Demo].....NL-spiele 82-10 a-c I have to look if I can find this Demo somewhere in my collections. Ars Regnandi I just heard also about and it is not in my lists. |

Manager Sim Professional 3.0 is in TOSEC (as PD).
Team is another interesting game that is MIA. http://hol.abime.net/1320 The game have seven review, yet it is not dumped yet. The Atari ST version is dumped, tho. |

Never heard of TEAM.
Manager Sim 3.0 is no PD. If it was published via Media Gmbh Than they hold the rights for that game. Also Manager was never listed in PD Series like Nordlicht & Berliner spielekiste. If the game started it says 1994 copyright by F. R. Renk. |

I remember I bought a Microdeal game and they used an old Microdeal game and just stuck a new label on it....so unless bullcrap like TV/Movie 'deep' data extraction is real those are 'lost' haha
I think OP means released games that are not available to buy or download from archives for emulators, not unfinished projects. |

Yup. NTSC games are a good bet but maybe also certain translations of games have been lost. E.g. I remember seeing a Spanish version of Flashback a long time ago but according to HOL it's not available in Spanish but I'm pretty sure it exists. Probably got lost like more translations.

There's a few Core titles that were in development and got canned / lost in time...
For example, the original prototype of Chuck Rock 2 (before I started work on the final version) that was created before the team went off to do Wonderdog for the Mega-CD instead. There was also a Choplifter conversion that was started (Core obtained the rights to the coin-op) Also a Blastar protoype that I was working on for a bit at some point, which more resembled the coin op Sinistar than what Blastar turned out to be |

So many promising titles didn't make it (I was really looking forward to Son of Zeus at the time for example), but this thread is specifically about titles that were finished and made available at some point and have since then been lost.
An interesting subject, I hope someone can come up with a corker like GayBlade. All these NTSC versions are boring |

Land of Legends is an example of a game that has been advertised in Amiga World Magazine (with the price and all), but never released.
http://hol.abime.net/4287 Maybe most of those advertised games share the same fate. Some of the games that are also advertised are Honeymooners (exist on C64), The Cyber Complex (DigiTek), Summer Events and Spymaster (Anco) etc... |

Another advertised game from Microillusions is Shrine of the Demon Soul. After all this time is there any chance you can find out what happened to it?
