A1200 3.1 degrade
I have found that since upgrading my 1200 to 3.1 less old games work when I use relokick, does anybody have an answer to this?
I upgraded sometime in the past, when I found this problem, just thought about it again this morning. |

Have you tried using TUDE instead, with a complete Kickstart image? (Relokick uses a 256KB one)

Get the 512KB Kickstart from Relokick, load it into a HEX Editor and cut the last 256KB off The Kick 1.3 is doubled, so the last 256KB is just a mirror of the first 256KB

But the kickstart that comes with Relokick lacks quite some features that an original one hs! Try loading a WB with that kickstart, and as soon as you open a window the Amiga freezes. Seems like it doesnt have all of the Intuition functions in there! (Perhaps Galahad has more info about this, I think this rom had his name on it)
Everything works just fine if you use a normal 512K version of 1.3. You can download it from Amiga emu sites |

Hmmm, that´s new to me I once compared the Kick 1.3 on the ReloKick Disk and it had the same CRC as the Kick 1.3 I´ve read out of my A500

Relokick 1.4a
Was never meant for Dos applications.
It was only ever meant for non dos games. space in the kickstart rom was at a premium, and I had to fit my code in there in some VERY tight spaces. So for dos stuff, forget my version, for non-dos, go for mine. |

Thanks for clarifying that! That's just the way I use it. for NDOS games I use your ROM, because it's much smaller.
Actually most DOS games I tried do work, the ones that die are those that need a workbench to open. As soon as you double click on an icon the Amiga freezes. |
