Wanted - 3.1 Roms for A4000

Hi,

Want to run OS3.9 on my A4000 so going to need some 3.1 Roms, are they rare for the A4k? They seem to be much more expensive, best I can find is Amigakit at £27.99 more than double the price of A1200 roms

Does anyone have a used set they can sell me for <£20?

Or should I just get the Amigakit ones, they seem to be reduced from almost 40 squids...

Vesalia have them for €39.90

I'd recommend you make your own. (Or have them made for you) That way you can get KS3.9

You can get a pair of programmed 27C400 EPROM's from Ebay for under £20 delivered.

Thanks for the tip Alexh, this is something I will probably explore in the future however I paid for a set of 3.1 roms earlier, they'll get me up and running with OS3.9.

By the way, did you see the post I made about the CPU spacers for you?

I did but I'm unable to find any here at work of those dimensions :/

Well I guess I have two 'spare' that you could borrow, I was going to keep them with the 030 in case I have to use it in another machine some day but if it helps get you up and running I can pop them in a jiffy for you

I've chosen the easier solution. I've asked a batch of samples from a company way back when I started to build up my high-end classic Amigas. I have dozens as I've ordered them after a drawing. Did the same thing with the screws for my A500 and A2000

Companies which provides fasteners are having these sometimes. Not so difficult to find. If you're interested, I'll dig out more info.
