@JTK

hello there, alas the A500 does not have the nessasary signals (internally) to give you SVideo Y/C you will need to modify the A520 modulator, its not overly for beginers either.

I will have a dig - about for the schematicsd for you.

Big Z, my friend: there is not much hard to convert an A520 to S-VHS (aka Y-C) output.

It's just a matter of following this design.

there should be a manual with this unit.

have a look on pinouts RU and the Amiga 23pin Video out.

I have schematics too, but it looks like I need to connect all RGB + sync wire at back side of motherboard. Am I correct?

Here I have two options:

1) before resistors

2) after resistors

I am mid level of this. I bought KADA as you suggest and did my first fixing (A1200 composite issue) and modding (8MB Fast + 1MB Chip on A500).

Anyway, Zetr0, any tips about connecting those RGB wires?

Don't use the internal RGB lines! They will not work at all for what you want!

Instead, you need to modify an A520 to achieve what you want.

@Jack

Cool, that Kada is indeed a life send ,

now looking at what the unit is expecting and the signals you have, just use the video port

grab a 23pin Dsub or hack down a 25 pin, then connect the R, G and B. Then connect HSync, Vsync and Ground to the correct positions on the board.

I have got this to work through hacked down D-Sub 25 pin but I have an issue with a weaving screen which makes the composite video out not sharp enough.
