A1200 doesent boot up with HD connected
Ever since I'v had the Amiga 1200 it's always been erractic in booting up although it's only now I'v realised this only takes place when the HD's connected.
Previously it has booted up more often than not. I'v done a few repairs on one of the HD Pins in the Motherboard recently (5v one) and it duly worked after that. But now whenever i try it using my Power Supply it wont turn on. However I disconnect the Hard Drive and voila. Is it that the power supply isnt good enough? The Wattage Output on this is 0.5amps but bit weird that it worked before and after my repairs. Steve |

I have a similar problem with mine occasionally. I have an Apollo 1260 and 30gb HD, I can only assume the power supply isn't quite up to the task.
