let's say a lazy conversion without any chunkytoplanar optimization which would have made the game playable onto 1200 amigas...i don't get why no hacker provided with a fix like for wing commander which allowed a1200 owners to play it at almost full speed without the akiko chip....

There are some fixes on Aminet which is supposed to speed it up a lot. Haven't tried them myself though.
EDIT: according to the readme it only fixes bugs, but someone at aw.net said it speeds up the game aswell. Last edited by fryguy; 18 August 2008 at 17:15. Reason: added some info |
