5 year Amiga absence

Hi guys,

I've been seperated from my long lost A1200 for nearly 5 years. I moved countries and left it behind, finally got it back.

While in Canada though I got an A500 a couple of months ago, no disks though, so couldn't do a thing with it.

Got all my software when I got the A1200 back though and I think I've got some older WB disks in with it somewhere so can use both now. Well, gotta rig a PSU for the A1200 the 240V one isn't any use here, So I cut off the cord to wire it up to a PC lump.
Anyhoo, kinda lost touch with what possible with these machines on the internet and such, would be nice to webbrowse on the A1200 if poss. Got a 10baseT network here, the miggy has 2mb chip 4Mb Fast, hopefully a PCMCIA NIC will work??

All my fave amiga websites are long dead apart from Aminet of course. Was wondering if peeps could rbing me up to speed on things and recommend a few sites etc.

Hi Road Warrior - welcome back to the Amiga!

You should check out WHDLoad:

This is a system which allows you to run Amiga games from a hard disk on an upgraded A1200 - forget the A500 and disk swapping.
