Read exactly what happened from the programmer himself Al Lowe, despite all of his jokes, there really was a Larry 4..of sorts!
http://www.allowe.com/L-4.htm and... http://www.allowe.com/L-5why.htm So there'll never be a Larry 4 to find,or you already might have it, depending on your point of view! |

In the Leisure suit larry collection released for the PC LSL4 is introduced as "The case of the missing floppies" with a small footnote. And that's it. I like how it was built into the next game though, wondering what had happened between you and Pattie.

Larry 4 should be multiplayer adventure game .. Maximum players at once could be 30, but project was canceled since Al Lowe and his team want to make a good AI and it was impossible to them and not sure what design of game to choose.Other problem was profit .. Ken Williams tells that if they want to make a profit from it,they needed to have sold over 50000 copies, which was impossible in these days when internet costs too much. So after 6 monts project was cancelled and marked as not makeable. |
