AGA Amigas
Am I right when I say that only the A4000 & A1200 are the only AGA Version Amigas?
Also has the Amiga 4000 got a pcmcia port like the Amiga 1200 & 600 have for adf transfer with a pcmcia compact flash card? |

A4000, A1200 and CD32 are AGA
no pcmcia on the A4000 though. An IDE->CF adaptor wouldnt be out of the question though. I always saw the a4000 as a "pure" HD based machine though... afterall, you can fit 3.5inch HDs in there! hope that is of help |

AGA;
CD32 3000+ motherboard only exists in (working) prototype form (extremely rare most were destroyed) Index Informations 'Access' (rare as funk though and £££) BoXer & InsideOut card (also made by Index Information) DCE Wonder TV 6000 4000 does not have PCMCIA as standard (there maybe a zorro card but I doubt it). I'd just use a Deneb card for transfers anyway edit: horace quicker than horace on the ski slopes! Last edited by Paul_s; 11 October 2009 at 18:49. |

So I see why most people use the Amiga 1200 for their choice of Amiga as it has pretty much all you need for adf transfer with aga, thankyou for your swift replys

I would love some Index Information pron.... rare amiga stuff = like making love to a beautiful woman
Interesting to note the BoXer didn't have the 2MB chip ram limitation... how cool is that. Would've made a killing if it had been released in the mid 90's... Last edited by Paul_s; 11 October 2009 at 18:45. |

With a PPC accelerator attached for good measure! Put together by DCE... nothing about it anywhere though... I guess you could call this the ultimate setup in terms of having OCS or ECS/AGA together in the same machine... very cool. Kinda looks like the Access motherboard. I forget where I got that picture from Last edited by Paul_s; 11 October 2009 at 22:18. |
