Lifeschool says that according to the only Amiga longplay on Youtube the level 2 boss is unbeatable. So until someone of us can beat him we'll regard him as "end of the game".

When you reach him pause and take a screenshot - you'll be awarded bonus points for credits and lives.
Unless someone manages to beat him, then the bonus points will be retracted and only awarded when someone gets to the real end.

^ I misunderstood lifeschool. Bonus points will only be awarded at the true end of the game.

I haven't played this game in donkeys years, but I'm sure that "back in the day" I finished this on the Amiga

...obviously using cheats and with 2 people playing.

I do seem to remember that the 2nd boss took forever to kill though...

Also, HOL has the end game screenshot.

...but it would be impossible to do without cheats.

Yeah he surely meant "impossible for 1 player without cheats". But maybe rexsu can prove him wrong.

Exactly. Never underestimate the Power of the Compo! We've crushed games to dust before today, and what I said was "The guy in the video claims the second boss is unbeatable, so we might have a lot of similar high scores in the game. I can get to the second boss no problem, but no further. But maybe we will find a solution to kill him in the compo?".

I say let play commence, and we'll see how 'impossible' the second boss really is.

Ah okay, then I just misunderstood you.

Well, then: bonus points will only be awarded at the true end of the game, not at the lvl 2 boss.

Good conversion, but zero fun to play. This was made as a coop game, as such I'm sure it's quite good.

Was able to beat the second boss using all my bombs and losing 6 lives. Got up to this stage:

165,950

Don't think I'll be able to get to the end.

Wow, impressive stuff indeed to beat the "impossible" boss

If like me you never played this game before, press Left ALT to use the bombs
Thanks to the manual available in "Lemon Amiga"

but I am disappointed by their scope of action (rikiki)

No wonder I couldn't work out what the key for bombs was... couldn't be bothered plugging in my wireless Xbox 360 controllers so was just using "Keyboard Layout B"

Usually I play with the keyboard (also layout B) but here for this 3D isometric action game, no way... I have quickly plugged the Hori Fighting Stick Mini
As they say : my "user experience" is much better

Yeah, it was just a quick bash to see how difficult it was to get to / beat the 2nd boss...

Was being lazy so didn't plug in my controllers

Completed !
330,500+10,000+2,000 = 342,500

Honestly I think it's not a good game
You complete the first level and you have seen the whole game.
Same GFX (with garish colors), same monsters (with basic AI), same music...
Technically it's average, scrolling not great and many slowdowns.
The scoring system is not good for a contest with these enemies that are rushing on you to infinity.
In addition I always thought that action games in 3D Iso had an aproximative gameplay.

In the same theme, I think Alien Syndrome is much better !

Go to Exil now, I feel it's a more interesting game

Just to note, players arent allowed to use the cheat to squeeze through the doors to skip the bosses. Not only is this cheating, but is also worth less score.

I put the WHD V1.5 on a HD ADF for people to try.
Grab it here.

I did not use any cheat.
No idea how to do that but if it's easy to do it, also it will only strengthen me on the "quality" of this game
I did not watch any longplay too.

He wasn't talking specifically to you (although it looked that way). Lifeschool just found out about the glitch.
We know you don't cheat.

Not much fun but helps to endure the Vanilla queue waiting time. Only 4 minutes remaining...guess that's it from me then.
