Floppy disk ADF-Workshop (formerly DMS-Workshop)

Hi everybody,
I want to share with you a program for Windows that I use every day to work on the TOSEC collection :

ADF-Workshop is utility that allows you to manage your ADF collection.
Why this name? Originally, I wrote a small program to understand the
structure of DMS and discover programming with PureBasic. Gradually, I
added more possibilities and options. A year and a half later, this is
the result of my work between two fixes for TOSEC ;-)

Feature:
- Support in reading of ADF, ADZ, DMS and ABB (bootblock) files
- Preliminary support for Warp files
- Conversion to ADF
- Automatic decryption of protected DMS
- Bug workaround for some bugged DMS
- Extraction of additional content for DMS
- Fusion of several files (to apply a DMS patch or join a DMS file divided into parts)
- Comparison and identification with TOSEC database
- Search engine in the TOSEC database (standard ADF only)
- Recognition of bootblock
- Support for ABR (Amiga Bootblock Reader) database by jasonver2.0
- Viewing or extract files on the disk as well as their health status
- Identification of some viruses/trojan/link-virus (but this is not an antivirus!)
- Fix some damage (Saddam virus, Pestilence virus, overflow bootblock)
- Batch mode
- Other stuff more or less useful
- 100% written in PureBasic

Some details are added to the "readme.txt"

Main program:

ADF-Workshop v20150426

Very nice, thanks.

Just a small point, in the error reporting dialogue, instead of 'Deleted and/or loosed' it should read 'Deleted and/or lost'

Great work Crashdisk, congrats!
Not sure if this is an open beta to EAB folks or others too. If you wish to have a news item about this in our front page just let me know.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you for your support

@ Arnie
Noted. Thank you

@ PandMonium
It is no longer a beta, this period lasted long enough. In any case, I'll be honored with a small news

thanks Crashdisk, cool tool

maybe an option could be usefull: if one does a batch-scan, and DWP finds a diskimage, not known to tosec. for easier access the program could _copy_ the unknown image into "unknown-to-tosec" folder - or the like

happy holidays

the mega website is a bit picky about browsers - failed with opera 12.x - but succeeded with firefox 26 - maybe disable the addons for the download.

Hi Crashdisk,
That's a great gift for us all! Thank you so much. We don't need anymore ADF Opus, plus features and support of TOSEC DB are excellent.

Just one very small question as it comes to mind: do you plan in the future to also support conversion of the COP format? This one is particularly tedious as the tool to manage these is German-speaking only.

Yes other formats are planned but I have to rework some codes before. Also I think the WRP format is highest priority. It should also be noted that I do not know the C language so I'll have to write everything myself, it will take time...

Hey Crashdisk, sorry for the delay but i've been updating the website (not far from finishing now but too tired today :P)

I will definitely post something about your tool there and can even host it at our too site too. You can even have permissions to post news about your tool there by yourself and also upload new files if you want too

Lets see what I can do in the next days!

I wonder why this thread i link here sprung to my mind when i spotted this DMS-workshop thingy??

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=26620

So, adding the split dms-file functionality to this would be great.. or is it already in there?

PureBasic is also available for Linux. Would you be willing to share the source or compile it under a few popular Linux distributions? I guess I'm not the only one with a "main workstation" that's not a Windows Computer...
