You can dump a cracked disk and disk-utilities will spit out an IPF, it won't care it's cracked!!

Only the CTA tool from SPS will create genuine unmodified IPF's, it knows if a disk is modified or not, but only select member of SPS have access to that tool!

Sorry to bump the thread but I have the original Dungeon Master disk as follows:

"Dungeon Master
Copyright 1986
FTL Games/Software Heaven Inc.
Copy Protected Disk

Amiga"

Is this the version required?...

Ahh. Well if anyone wants to verify the image the raw dump is in the zone. It's also in the 2021 folder of the Zone FTP.

Which was exactly the same result with my dump of Dungeon Master when I sent it to IFW many years ago!

I have 2 dumps that appear duplicated but my original only had the protection track duplicated!

But to see another dump with only the protection track duplicated just seems very odd?

All the originals of Dungeon Master were duplicated. So there can't be any exceptions for this game.

Tracks modified = original tampered with an Amiga.

Enter the dungeon, select a hero, on his inventory click on the floppy icon. Top left of the requester you will see the version number of the game engine (V2.0, V3.6, other ?) .

Uploaded an SCP of my v2.2 dump, converted with HxC!

Played this for about an hour in WinUAE, it let me format a save disk and save the game and let me load the save game back after exiting WinUAE and loading DM again, went down a second flight of stairs too without any problems!!

It also contains the Kids Dungeon, when the FLT logo shows just keep Left-Alt pressed until the Enter / Resume screen appears then enter the dungeon and you see a message saying "Welcome Brave Kids".

How do you mean impossible as I have the original disk of the version you seek... and it seems isn't readily available?

I've removed the IPF from the Zone - generated from said raw dump as it may be misleading.

Did you personally imaged it (with Kryoflux) from your original disk?
Could you kindly upload the Kryoflux dump too to The Zone?
Is the original disk unmodified, or was Denis referring to this one too as modified?

Denis, which utility/method are you using which allows you to see it's modified?

Yes!
Do you have the hardware (GreaseWeazle, Kryoflux etc.) required to image it?

The SPS IPF encoding tool.

It's my own dump from an original disk, HxC shows all the ADOS tracks as index-aligned.

I have v2.0 as well but it's the French version!!
