Freezes on A2000.

Had WHDLoad running on a bare (well +1MB in trapdoor) A600 for years, was quite possible to run a lot of titles, later I did get PCMCIA expansion as well as an internal one - added some MB more.

So, now that I don't have an A600 anymore I thought I should run it on the A2000 just as well.
Doesn't work unfortunately, I have 1+8MB, which is more than I ever had in the A600. Any title I have been trying to start ends up with the computer freezing in workbench and floppy drives going silent. No pop-up screen, nothing.

A2000 has kickstart 3.1, running WB3.1 and has an IDE68k interface (IDE over the CPU). The A600:s also had (the same) KS3.1 and WB3.1

First, I copied my registered v17 (?) first but then I also tried the latest 18.6 - same result.

What could it be, seems memory should be enough.
Bad library or other file that needs to be removed?
Bad RAM?
Missing assign?
Mistake in startup-sequence (haven't experimented with that yet).
