He has ported Quake II to AGA, what speed does the TF1260 run at? Would need 80mhz I think. I also like his Ports or Doom/Quake and Duke3D, I run them all on my Vampire setup (the RTG versions as I have Vamp 500/no AGA) |

There will always be people looking to make a quick buck and exploit the hard work of others.
Considering the fact the project was beneficial for the community, a crowd funding project may have been helpful to in someway mitigate the impact of this for TF. I hope those fortunate to be in the friends circle don't breach his trust... |

Not the first time by the way... then he calms down and comes back, usually. Let's hope this is another of those times.

Yep it’s not the first time, and i’m sure it won’t be the last.
We don’t need a new thread every time someone threatens to the leave the Amiga scene though, or just create one giant ‘latest backstabbing Amiga rumours’ thread |

Absolute shame to be losing such an irreplaceable asset to the community.
Its always one butt hole muncher that seems to screw it up for everyone else. ....just thinking out aloud here, but are hitmen still a thing these days?? Just when open source was looking great, it seems we'll all be back to close source from now on Bad timing too, being that i'm in the middle of building a couple 536's for myself (namely firmware). Thanks for all you hard work and effort Mr. Leary. Good luck with all your future endeavours. Atari community will have a ball!! Maybe the 520/1040 STE will get some accelerator love too |

Thousands of happy users and one idiot... It is childish to use this as reason, because you have always this one idiot.

According to a facebook post on the Amiga group, John Hertell convinced him in a zoom discussion to continue the project after all, although it will no longer be open sourced and only available through a small set of selected builders.
