i'm very impressed, that's a great collection. i'm curious: are these one the games you own in more than one copy? how do a collector divide things he keep from what he sells? he's he satisfied on having own for just a while? or he's after some particular piece and what he commerce is just meant to take him there?

I'm selling stuff I have no need for any more, that's because:
1) I have duplicates - in special if in better condition
2) I'm not interested in those platform any more (I often buy different platforms before I can aquire the game for my "special" Friend, i.e. AMIGA)
3) I'm not interested in the company any more or it turns out the game isn't worth to have it

I can divide my collection from the other lot only in storing them in different rooms. I do have some listings in addition, however sometimes I buy games as twice as often - just because I didn't realize any more I had them already...

I cannot understand your last sentence...

I still play those games - I need to play most of them in future (you know, time is of importance when collecting). I have special interest in some companies that's why I'm after all games and all information to get of those.
I do not "hord" games just to resell them a few months later.
I will maintain this collection for years...however I need to get apart from those hardware stuff...anybody interested in a A600HD with accelerator card, A1000 or ATARI computers/Apple II?

about my last sentence, you have already answered by sayin that there are particular areas of interest. thank you very much for info, anyway, i find collections, of every genre, fascinating. this is a reason for me to stay away from them as i'm way too much digressive

update...

don't want to make a new thread...

I have listed a few games on Ebay Germany right now - with BUY IT NOW option - if anybody is interested. See my excellent international Ebay rating - I like to sell overseas :-)

I have mentioned it before - but if you are looking for a special game - let me know, I may have it -> and might sell/trade it (yes, Andreas did it ;-) )

Auctions are available at:

http://members.ebay.de/aboutme/cebulba (sorry that URL button didn't seemed to work right now)...

or just click the link provided earlier in this thread...

cu,
Olli Knagge
