*SOLVED* Keyboard connector/clip the same on both A500 and A600?

Desperately need one. A few "donors" are available via FB, but they are all A500. Is the keyboaed connector/clip the same on both models?

Short answer No, Long answer you can use the same pic chip that i use on the CD32 for both the A500 and the a600. The a500 uses an inline connector to the a500 mobo All A500 versions are the same) and the a600 uses a PLCC socket that can sit on the CIA chip or the KB chip (both PLCC).

I do have schematics somewhere for both and can release them if people need them. I did see someone selling the same thing on ebay for $50, tut tut!

Which connector are we talking about here? On the A500 the keyboard membrane connects to the controller PCB which is a part of the keyboard, and a regular cable then goes to the pin header on the motherboard. On the A600 the membrane is connected directly to the motherboard. If it's the membrane clip you need, I should have those (for the A1200 but I think the membrane has the same amount of connections).

ya know, i am not sure. I "assumed" he was talking about the connector type to the motherboard. The membranes are not interchangeable so i didnt think of that
