Genlock DB15 connection

Hi,
I've been hoping to try some genlocking. I have an old MG-25 but when I went to hook it up I noticed that the "RGB port" connection is DB15, not DB9 or 23-pin. Do I need a particula cable for this or will it work with a plain old VGA-adapter. If not, does anyone know if an apropriate cable can be found somewhere?

I also have a VES-two (video effect system) which has a 15-pin gameport-style connector for the RGB port.. Really a bit of confusing. Are these ports something special? Did the devices come with special cables? I'm a bit sad at not being able to get this up and running.

You probably need its cable from db15 to Amiga RGB port.
It might be hard to find docs on it.

You don't think this could have been just a standard VGA-adapter-ish thing?
