Crunch-Mania versions

Crunh-Mania was, for me, one of the best packers for Amiga.
I used a version modified by me, it was ... 1.94 (i think ...), but i never saw on internet.
Does someone knows what realy was the last version of this cruncher?

If I remember correctly, v1.91 was the last released version.

The last released version was V1.91 (or V1.91t for trial).

I still have a V1.91 registered on my name.
Unfortunately i lost the contact to Thomas Schwarz in 1995 or 1996.
So i don't know if there was a newer beta version.
But i must search for the old letters of Thomas, since we were discussing about additional features.

The source code of CrM is maybe lost forever. Too bad ...
Especially since there were issues with 68060 CPU's.

Btw does anybody know what the bugs are that are hinted at in the PatchCrm readme and effect they have ? .. Is there possible corruped files because of them ?

PatchCrM  is  a  small  utility which is only of interest to registered users.
This program patches the registered versions of CrM V1.9 and removes some bugs
which  are in it.  It also patches the library.  The program tells you what it
patches and what you have to do.  Just follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE: This  litte  program  will  NOT remove all bugs which are in V1.9 and it
      will  NOT  produce  a  real V1.91 version.  It just removes the heaviest
      bugs.  The library is patched in the same incomplete way.

Remember  to  keep  a  copy of the original V1.9 versions!  You use this patch
program at your own risk!

Nevertheless I hope you won't have any problems.

The shareware limitations, i made a crack for it, but i lost it with lot of things on my 850 MB Hard Drive ...

Sorry ... but my name and my address is hard coded (encrypted) in the main executable and maybe in the lib too.

Every registered CrunchMania version is personalized.

So you will find nobody who will give his personal version to the public.

Better look for a cracked version.

And btw ... atm i'm in Oxford at BMW/MINI, far away from home, so i can't look for my old A4000T and the software on it.

might be able to find it on some compilation disk
i downloaded enough i'll have to go through them
got 6 cds on 2 dvd's somewhere, i know i got a fullyworking pro-wizard not cracked.
on one of those cd's.
LSD, and others, shame i'm being disconnected on 24aug i wont have time to upload them the cd's that is.

just found Crunchmania 1.95t test version lol, whilst browsing going to test it in my winuae emulator and see if it works then i'll upload onto my free space my isp gave me and post a link in here, if its ok.
also found a powerpacker 4.3 on there.

ok, ran it on winuae and it is 195T. looks the same as the 191 version but i didnt do a byte comparison.

one way i can find out, use the same crack for 1.91 that i got on the 1.95 version. Yep, looks like it is, i just did a compare between the cracked and this version. ok this is a modified 1.91 version to 1.95 damn.

I have found this "CrunchManiaV1.95t.LHA" maybe its the same version maybe its real ??

seems to be the same, andy found. same results when doing a diff with v1.91t. the year is correct but month from datestamp doesnt fit with the description carlos was posting some lines above

if u look at the one i posted and open up the fileid.diz file you'll see

which is what carlos pasted, so maybe that is the same thing he was looking for
