James Pond 3 AGA, MFM version not supported!
Think I have an unsupported version of James Pond 3: Operation StarFi5h as the WHDLoad installer says 'No sync signal on track 1" when imaging Disk 1 using the CT Raw image under WinUAE!!
This is AGA with custom MFM as only T0.0 on Disk 1 is AmigaDOS!! Uploaded all 3 disks as CT RAW dumps to the zone for investigation! The disks were a bit moldy when I got them and have cleaned and dumped but unsure of if they are modified/damaged as I have no way to check! Disk 1 loads in WinUAE and pauses on Track 35 but continues to load, Disk 2 loads and gets into the game so it looks like it's 'working' as far as loading playing!! |

Just tried it and I get the same. Game works from floppy O.K. I didn't get as far into the game for needing disk 2 though.

@dlfrsilver: Problem is I have no knowledge of MFM disk formats or how to analyse them to find out if they are bad ADOS disks are easy as dtc will verify when dumping, or if the game is supported in keirs disk-utilities that can verify the disk as well.
@Arnie: I was asked to insert Disk 2 when loading Garden of Edam! |

Yeah, my bad. I was using 2 drives. I was also doing other things while waiting for the disks to load. I have no patience waiting for floppys to load.

Just submitted a request via the form on the WHDLoad site for the install to support this but noticed the bugtracker has a request already mentioning an unsupported German version, so looks like there are at least 2 unsupported versions now!
