Need help to start

Hello,
I'm trying to start to code on my Amiga 500. I've downloaded SAS-C 6.50, but it need to be installed. I don't have any hard drive on my amiga, so I think that I can't use it.

Can somebody suggest a good C compiler that doesn't need to be directly installed ?

Thanks

I remember toying with DICE many years ago. Even if each compile cycle involved lots of floppy swapping, it was possible. That said, C isn't exactly the best suited language for an unexpanded A500. There are some high-level languages like AMOS that will work, but otherwise assembly language is probably the best choice.

back in the day what we did with a friend was to build a minimal Aztec C configuration that we put on the RAD but we had 1.5 MB of memory.
