A pair of DB9 port savers/extenders. Plan is to use one (or both!) for fresh wiring of an optical mouse that I will be converting from PC to Amiga so I can use it natively without adaptors!

Tiny Slug, Rygar, Turbo Sprint, Inviyya, TF1260, clear a1200 case and today arrived a perfectly mint (very tiny crease on code wheel) copy of Hillsfar.

(also picked up this waterproof liquid with a good discount, it looked and worked perfect)
Got a Martin DX2 w/electric pickup today from a local shop. First time I bought a good acoustic guitar, been using a used Takamine for several years as my only guitar so this is like I've moved up to first class man.

2nd time's the charm!

I just got a nice package in the mail. A 10 pack of Fujifilm MF2DD 3.5" disks "Official Floppy Disk of World Cup 1990", still sealed in the box.

IMO Fuji disks were the best, even beating famous names like Sony, Maxell and Verbatim in quality and reliability. Today they are rare and hard to get, especially down here in New Zealand.

Price on the box:- US$10.99
Price I paid (including freight and tax) US$49.68 = ~NZ$71.00

I was a bit peeved because even though these disks are 30 years old they were advertised as 'new' so I had to pay tax, which wouldn't be so bad except NZ GST is 15% but I was charged 25% tax.

But I was still happy to pay that price for premium disks. In 1991 I was selling these in my shop for NZ$59 per box. With inflation that equates to $109 today.

Just received the MegaFire Mega Drive joypad I ordered, and... I don't like the d-pad, not responsive at all. Gee, that MD controller just broke the record for the shortest use of its second hand lifespan.

I bought another Western Digital Elements 8TB £140 hard drive off Amazon. Now I can store all my retro Roms and images on one HD instead of having them scattered over four different hard drives, and will be using Launchbox as a frontend.
