king's quest IV

I started the game first time after installing it and I got this message:
Oops!
you have tried something we didn't think of.
SCI version 1.002.025

Does this mean anything to you guys?
I use a CF as a hdd

it is something to do with the copy protection.<br />
I have tried many versions of disk 1, all of the but one has some kind of a problem.<br />
The one I use now is not cracked. But the manual which I use is a mess. (don't know what is page 2 or 3 or 4)
