Jump Em (c) Scorpius

I saw this one on HOL, and I'd like to give it a try but don't have it anywhere and it doesn't seem to have made its way into TOSEC... back2roots.org is down, could some friendly soul please upload it to the Zone for me (it's free/abandonware now).

Thanks in advance!

OK... so I've got it, but can anyone explain to me how you complete a level? I guess you collect the green things, and go to the 'exit tile', but nothing happens... Is this a WinUAE/collision-detection problem (can someone w/ a real amiga try it out for me please)?

You must walk on all tiles so they fall down, then you can go to the exit. Check out [ Show youtube player ]. It's another game very similar to Jump Em.

Btw, anyone have the full version of this great game? I guess the one in Tosec is not the full version?

Another thing that confuses me is that there seems to be two versions. The one listed on HOL and another one showed in [ Show youtube player ].

However, both seems to be the demoversion only. Maybe one of them are just an early version?

Hi markpjd,

Cheers for the information

The file on your website has the same CRC32s as this one in the latest TOSEC:

... Jump 'Em (1995)(Scorpius - 5D Licenceware)(LW).adf

Thanks!

I was playing the game yesterday and played twenty levels. After that I decided to not play the remaining 20 levels. There is a bug that makes it not possible to finish the game in one go. You are supposed to get a extra life if you finish the mini games. But if you complete these levels, you will get a game-over screen instead of a life. The problem is that you MUST die in some levels because that's how the levels is designed. So you really need to win the mini games.

The only way to finish the game is to die so you get new lives and use the password you get after every level.

This bug made me not motivated continue playing.

I really liked this game. But prefer Touch 'n Go over this. More levels and less bugs in that game.
