Favorite ONE Game for life
I know this sounds crazy but do any of you have any favorite game for life? Maybe there's something so special for you about that game. I can say for me it's Test Drive 2 the Duel. Nothing compares to this game in terms of excitement, not even its archaic graphics can lose to modern racing games in terms of fun factor. This very special to me cause back then I was only able to play it in CGA PC (we cannot afford even an EGA back then!) then now to my joy I'm playing the Amiga version with full colours & digitized sounds! Racing games will become more advance I know but this is my all time fav, hence it's also my nickname. What's yours?

So by game for life I presume you mean you can only ever play this game again?
If that's the case then I'd have to say: Goldeneye |

Diggers (CD32) I have completed that game many times!
I don't know what it is, but I just love Diggers, especially with that atmospheric background track. I also have Diggers for PC, and the original CD version of Extractors. I've yet to actually play Extractors properly though, (due to it running too fast) I haven't used DosBox yet, so I hope to get it working properly with that sometime. I'm awaiting the remake of Diggers, but you can't beat the original version. That was perfect in every way for me. I have the original Diggers/Oscar CD32 disc, so when I feel like playing, I fire up WinUAE and play! Last edited by Sluggs; 02 November 2007 at 13:57. |

Some damn fine games mentioned here...
@Charlie I thought i was the only here whom played laser squad nemesis... an absolutely fine game @Retr0-Nerd ahhh Paradriod so close to my heart... you know I was around 12/13 when i got into that game.... and one time, (lucky for me I have a whiteness) I merged a 001 with the 999 droid .... ahhh what a sensation that was!!!!! but for me.... the only one game If I had an eternity with it is the one and only... CAPTIVE... (surprise surprise ) now some honorable mentions C64: Elite ZX : Laser Squad MD : Flashback N64: Goldeneye DC : House of the Dead PSX: Final Fantasy 7 or 8 both are fantastic PS2: Guitar Hero 2 (who know after 100 years i may be able to play it on Expert) Arcade Game: R-Type LOL i thought about what game i would take on the PC, and although there a lot of good contenders, all i could think about was taking an OpenGL / C++ development platform... figure.... Oo Oooo Oooo PC : The Internet there we go.... sorted.... |

Yep, it's possible. I took a day-off from school in 1986 to play through this game.
