Identify a diskmag?
I'm trying to remember the name of (something like) a diskmag I saw very briefly once many years ago. It's possible I'm just imagining the entire thing.
Here's what I can remember: - Ran on A500. - It probably came on a disk together with a really small cracked game. - On the frontmost page, they had a mascot that looked similar to Garfield the cat. - You could configure the background and foreground colours with the F keys. - There was background music. Does that sound familiar to anyone? :/ |

Stolen Data maybe? Just can't remember if you could change the colors in that mag though.

The only diskmag I remember that had a garfield the cat on the front was Grapevine diskmag #6 but that wasn't their mascot, it was just a random picture that changed every new diskmag + there was no option to change foreground and background colours, only disable the colours but that was well into the main page iirc.
Here's a screenshot I doubt it was this, so sorry in advance |

Thanks, Stingray. I've had a look at all the Stolen Data disks that are on bttr, but it's none of those unfortunately.
edit- and I'm afraid it's not that either, Demon. All of these have distinct pages and I think the one I can't remember had smooth vertical scrolling. |

Are you sure this isn't the short lived Rampage diskmagazine that was actually a commercial endeavour?
It was a commercial diskmag that also happened to give away a free game with the diskmag. |

I haven't been able to track down any rampage images to have a look.
I started look through the diskmags in the file server for rampage, and also looking for images from around the same year and I think I've found the one I was thinking of! Coders Scene Magazine! Hurrah! Looks like I was wrong about the scrolling. Maybe I got it mixed up with Loons Docs or something like that. The first time I saw this was when I was... I dunno... six years old. Just as crap as I remember it. I think it was crammed on a disk with Rick Dangerous 2/3D Pool/Rockstar.a.m.H./Pipe-Mania. Loved Pipe-Mania, I did. Thanks for the advice, folks. If anybody downloads the CSM issue 4 image, you might be interested to know that issues 1-3 are also on the disk! If you exit the magazine, the previous issue loads.
